James Griffin (he/him) is a licensed psychologist who has provided therapy to adolescents and adults through the Center for LGBTQ Health Equity of Chase Brexton since July 2019. After earning his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology from Fordham University, he completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Psychology at the Medical College of Georgia with emphases in LGBTQ Health and HIV. Dr. Griffin honed his expertise in the ethics of surgical readiness assessments by completing the WPATH Global Education Initiatives Foundations Course (in 2016), in addition to his academic studies and rich clinical training experiences working with transgender and gender expansive individuals and their families.
