Adapting our homes and lives as we age

More and more Elders are seeking ways to remain independent as they age, forgoing traditional care home facilities. For LGBTQ Elders, aging in place is an attractive way to ensure they can continue to live out and proud. However, living at home as you age requires careful consideration and planning. This month, we will explore the advantages and disadvantages of aging in place, discuss safety assessment concerns when planning to age in place, and explore the various options available in our community to help Elders continue living in their homes as they age.

Please take note of the date, as this month's event will be on the THIRD Thursday instead of our usual second Thursday.

LUNCH WILL BE SERVED for all who are registered.
