We hope you found inspiration in our dazzling speakers and their stories of strength and community and enjoyed the delicious meal from our fan-favorite caterer, Soul Smoked BBQ. Every year, we gather for an evening of inspiration, community, and gratitude to celebrate the lives and impacts of the LGBT Elders in our community. This magical night simply does not happen without you as part of it, and we were so glad to have you there.

This event is but one facet of our ElderPride Program. We provide monthly educational community connection events, advocacy for our Elders and people aging with HIV, access to full primary care, HIV care, support groups and therapy, full service onsite pharmacy, dental service, nutrition support, diabetes management care, and more.

If you are interested in ensuring all Elders can attend our celebration and enjoy all the support offered by our ElderPride program, please donate to support the ElderPride program. Every dollar will help us make a difference in the lives of our Elders.

The History of National Honor Our LGBT Elders Day

Founded in Baltimore and now celebrated coast to coast, National Honor Our LGBT Elders Day, or Elders Day, was created to foster awareness and show appreciation for the lifetime of contributions made by LGBTQ Elders.

This special day of recognition was added to the National Days Registry by Chase Brexton in 2016 and is a pillar in our ElderPride program serving community members age 50+.

The gains made by our community sit squarely on the backs of those whose struggles and victories, extraordinary courage, and everyday authenticity pioneered the LGBTQ equality movement. As we now face new threats and hostility, we are reminded that we have seen this before. Every one of our LGBTQ Elders has lived amidst the fires of change, through triumphs and struggles. We honor their courage and tenacity, and we seek their wisdom and guidance as we face new perils and challenges.

Our Elders hold our history.

Many thanks to our generous 2026 sponsors!
